Leavellwood ...more than just a fishing and hunting experience.

Trey, thanks for all you and Pam and your guides did for our kids this trip. Everyone had a great time and my special Ed kids cant stop talking about it. You and the staff did such a great job making everybodys trip special. At the bottom I have enclosed a letter our higschool AD sent to my principal and our school superintendent, looks like the trip will be continuing for years to come, thanks again. John Mr. Hudson and Mr. Barlow, I had the good fortune of being able to go on the junior high fishing trip this week that was organized by the JH physical education teachers. This was a great day for the kids, teachers, and chaperones who participated in this activity. I just wanted to commend, congratulate, and thank the physical education staff for creating such a great concept as a part of the JH physical education curriculum. Throughout the day their love for the kids and their profession was on display as they shadowed kids making this a special day for every child. On Monday around 67 seventh graders went on the trip and on Tuesday another 61 or so eighth graders participated. I was extremely impressed and proud of not only the organization of the entire day but how well the kids were capable of fishing. The teachers had obviously prepared the students in the days prior to the activity with the needed training in the skills of fishing. Probably the most exciting time of the day for me was listening to the screams and yells of excitement of the special needs children as they caught fish after fish from the boat dock. Without a doubt these students will now have memory of their school days that they will never forget and for many a newfound love of a livelong activity. They were truly engaged. Hey Mrs. Montgomery it's Sam Stewart. I would just like to thank you for everything that you all did for my dad and I. We had the best time catching yalls wonderful bass and spending time with each other. The fishing, food, and staff were amazing. This was by far my dad and I's favorite fishing adventure. We had a great time and it's a safe bet you will see us again around the same time next year.

Dear Trey, Pam, Heath, and Mary Caitlin, I cant tell you how much fun we all had on our fishing trip this past weekend! The service was beyond belief and even if the fishing was not as phenomenal as it was we would have still had a blast. The food was great (as usual) and you always make us feel like family. You are aware we had a lodge we use to frequent closer to us, but we all agree that we have never felt more comfortable than at Leavellwood. Needless to say we dont mind driving a little farther for the experience you provide. The job you all do is appreciated and really does not go unnoticed. I heard some many compliments from my customers. I also want to say thanks for realizing that not only are we customers to Leavellwood, but we bring our customers. The extra time you take to make part of your experience is priceless! I know I speak for Jeff and the rest of our group when I say, we truly consider you all our friends! We look forward to all the future trips to Leavellwood!

What a wonderful time we all had. Melanie has had a lot of fun sharing her experiences with family & friends since we got back. Our entire family just feels so comfortable with your family...truly feel like we have known you for years. Thanks again for everything and we truly do look forward to a return trip.

Just wanted to say thank you for making our Buchanan hunt the best ever. Everyone had a great time and was made to feel right at home. You guys run a very classy operation and we look forward to coming next year. Heath, Mary Kat, Jamie, and Kyle really went out of their way to make everyone feel right at home also. Tell them all we say thank you. Hopefully we can bring another group fishing this year, because that was an awesome experience also. I do believe that Bryant would leave home and move to Leavellwood. He as asked me how old you have to be to be a fishing or hunting guide. Thats a testament to you guys. Thanks again and God Bless

Thank you so much for making our hunting trip so moving. There is no place we can think of that compares. I can't stop thinking about all the details from my first fish to my first huge buck. I do believe that you guys have a special spot in heaven for touching so many peoples lives. My dad is planning us a fishing trip for our whole family. He thinks some time in the spring.
